Automation testing is a software testing technique used to compare actual outcomes with expected results. It utilizes automation tools to write and execute test cases, eliminating the need for manual intervention during test execution. Test automation is primarily used to handle repetitive tasks and other testing activities that are time-consuming to perform manually. It is also widely used to evaluate applications from load, performance, and stress perspectives.
Marquistech has its own in-house automation testing tool and a specialized team dedicated to continuously developing and maintaining it in line with evolving customer requirements and emerging technologies. While manual testing remains essential in certain scenarios, some QA tests are too complex or repetitive for human testers. This is where Marquistech’s automated testing tool – MATT comes into play, ensuring continuous execution alongside manual testing to deliver high-quality products faster.
MATT can be used in both mobile and stationary environments and supports devices running a minimum of Android Oreo 8.0. It offers a wide range of automation features, including call handling, SMS, Wi-Fi connectivity, FTP (upload/download), and web browsing. Additionally, the tool provides RF condition metrics such as RSRP, RSRQ, PCI, MCC, and MNC.
MATT generates detailed test reports for each test upon completion, which are provided in Excel format.
