Marquistech participated as a speaker in the National Workshop on "oneM2M: Standards, Global Deployments and Stakeholders' Perspective," conducted by the Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), Department of Telecommunications, on 29 July 2026.
oneM2M is the global standards framework for machine-to-machine and IoT interoperability, built by a collaborative effort of standards bodies worldwide. TEC has adopted successive oneM2M releases as national standards for India — Release 2 in 2020 and Release 3 in 2022 — transposed locally through the Telecommunications Standards Development Society, India (TSDSI). The standard underpins India's push toward a secure, interoperable IoT ecosystem, addressing cross-platform interoperability, device authentication, and data privacy as the country scales its Smart City and connected-device initiatives.
Our Lab Head, Brajpal Singh, delivered a presentation covering a test lab's perspective on oneM2M implementation in smart solutions, along with the challenges faced by new entrants adopting oneM2M — drawing on Marquistech's hands-on testing and certification experience to give attendees a practical, on-the-ground view alongside the workshop's policy and standards discussions.
Brajpal Singh's contribution to the workshop was recognized with an honorary award, presented alongside a group of specialists whose expertise helped shape the day's sessions.
