Marquis Technologies Private Limited has selected Rohde & Schwarz to equip what will be India's first fully prepared GCF RTO and PTCRB ATL laboratory, based in Noida. The investment strengthens local capabilities for wireless conformance and EMI/EMC certification, and covers systems for RF/RRM full type approval, protocol conformance, location-based services, and EMI/EMC testing — supporting 4G, 5G, NB-IoT, CAT-M, MCX, and other connected-device applications.
The setup makes Marquistech the first fully equipped conformance test house in India for both the GCF and PTCRB certification programs. Strategically located in the Delhi National Capital Region, the lab is aimed at serving companies across the mobile, IoT, and wireless module markets — at a time when India is gaining importance as an export-focused electronics manufacturing hub. With certified testing infrastructure now closer to device developers and OEMs, the lab is positioned to reduce turnaround times, simplify compliance, and support faster market access for wireless products.
Our goal is to provide a globally competitive certification hub for GCF and PTCRB testing, delivering quality, flexibility and faster time-to-market. Together with Rohde & Schwarz, we are helping strengthen the global wireless certification ecosystem.
— Prashant Jain, VP, Marquistech
The newly installed Rohde & Schwarz systems support legacy 4G as well as advanced 5G features, including non-terrestrial networks (NTN) and mission-critical communications (MCX), with coverage across a leading number of validated test cases. The site also gains regulatory testing capabilities for EMC and EMI, broadening the range of services Marquistech can offer directly — helping the lab minimize costs, reduce reliance on outsourced testing, and shorten the time customers need to complete a certification campaign.
Marquistech has been active for some time as a GCF field testing RTO. With this expansion, the company extends its global operations into conformance testing, adding a broader local test offering for device makers who need certification support during development and ahead of market entry. The local support structure provided by Rohde & Schwarz — which operates a major nearby development site with integrated laboratories covering the wireless product lifecycle — was a decisive factor in Marquistech's decision.
