Job Description:
- To execute Device Protocol Testing and Field Testing for Android smartphones.
- To perform functional, regression, and feature validation of mobile devices.
- To conduct field testing to validate network performance, voice, data, SMS, mobility, and handover scenarios.
- To capture and analyze logs using QXDM, ADB, Logcat, and QCAT.
- To validate LTE/5G procedures including Registration, Attach, Call Setup, Data Sessions, VoLTE/VoNR, Handover, and Mobility scenarios.
- To identify, reproduce, report, and verify software defects using Jira or similar defect tracking tools.
- To work closely with development and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- To prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
Skill Set Required:
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in Device Testing, Protocol Testing, or Field Testing.
- Good understanding of 4G LTE and 5G NR technologies.
- Hands-on experience with QXDM, QCAT, ADB, and Logcat.
- Basic knowledge of IMS, VoLTE, VoNR, NAS, RRC, and SIP protocols.
- Experience in Android smartphone testing and field validation.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, ECE, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience working on Qualcomm and/or MediaTek platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of Wireshark and telecom log analysis is an added advantage.
- Immediate joiners or candidates serving a short notice period will be given preference.
