GCF SG#106 is a regular workshop of the Global Certification Forum, hosted in turn by member companies from across the wireless testing and certification industry. This edition, held in Bangkok, Thailand on 24 July 2026, was hosted by Marquistech.
Over the course of the workshop, member companies reviewed emerging technologies and proposed test cases together, working through validation before agreeing to add qualifying cases to the GCF standard — the core process by which the certification framework keeps pace with new device capabilities. Alongside its role as host, Marquistech also used the workshop to give the assembled membership a first look at its newly commissioned facility in Noida: India's first fully equipped GCF RTO and PTCRB ATL lab.
The presentation walked attendees through the Rohde & Schwarz conformance test systems now installed at the Noida site — covering RF/RRM full type approval, protocol conformance, location-based services, and EMI/EMC testing across 4G, 5G, NB-IoT, CAT-M, and MCX applications. The session also touched on 5G and 5G-Advanced deployment progress in the region, reflecting the wider themes discussed across SG#106.

With the Noida lab now fully operational, Marquistech becomes the first conformance test house in India equipped for both GCF and PTCRB certification programs — giving device makers in the mobile, IoT, and wireless module markets a local pathway to faster, simplified certification. Presenting the milestone directly to the GCF membership at SG#106 marks the lab's formal introduction to the international certification community it now serves.
